CapCut LUT Generator for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts

Turn a reference image into a reusable cinematic color look for mobile creator workflows. Match tones, protect skin, and export a professional LUT from the browser.

Best for

  • Match a viral TikTok color style from a screenshot or frame.
  • Create repeatable Reels and Shorts looks without rebuilding filters by hand.
  • Keep portrait skin tones natural while applying stronger cinematic contrast.

How it works

ColorDesign turns reference-based color matching into a practical LUT workflow.

1

Upload your mobile video frame

Start with a still frame or thumbnail from the CapCut project that needs a consistent color grade.

2

Add a reference look

Use a moodboard image, travel photo, film still, or creator reference with the color palette you want.

3

Export and apply

Generate a LUT, preview the look, and use the exported preset in your mobile or desktop editing workflow.

Questions creators ask

Short answers for searchers comparing LUT and preset workflows.

Can I use the generated LUT for CapCut videos?

The generated CUBE LUT expects full-range sRGB RGB values. It is a creative transform, not a camera Log-to-Rec.709 conversion. Normalize camera footage using your editor's color management before applying the look, and check scopes and output color space. Import CUBE in an editor that supports it; Lightroom uses the approximate XMP preset. CapCut LUT import depends on the version and platform.

Is this useful for TikTok and Instagram Reels?

Yes. The page is designed for short-form creators who need a repeatable cinematic look across many vertical videos.

ColorDesign matches reference-image colors and previews image or video grades locally in your browser. Export .cube LUTs, approximate .xmp presets, and graded PNGs.

ColorDesign is a browser-based color grading tool for photographers and video creators. LUT Generator matches a source image or video frame to a reference image; Color Studio starts from film-inspired looks. Both let you refine the look before export.
